Colusa came into Friday's game looking for another win against Sutter, but Gia Rickertsen wouldn't allow it. The Huskies snuck past the RedHawks with a 50-46 win on Friday for which the team can thank Rickertsen, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 boards. She has become a key player for Sutter: the team is 5-1 when she posts at least eight rebounds, but 1-2 otherwise.

Sutter's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Colusa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Sutter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-30 loss against Placer on the 20th. As for Colusa, they have also already played their next game, a 37-36 win against River Valley on the 20th.
