Basketball Game Preview: Norwin Knights vs. Upper St. Clair Panthers

Norwin came up into this matchup off a tough 22-point loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Shaler Area by a score of 40-38 on Sunday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Upper St. Clair ended the year with a bang, routing Bethel Park 72-50 on Sunday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Upper St. Clair is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Norwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
