Vanden entered their tilt with River City on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They claimed a resounding 80-25 win over the River City Raiders. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Vanden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from La'Miracle Lebon, who posted 15 points and eight boards. Lebon's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Rochell, who scored 15 points and five steals.

Vanden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 23 consecutive games.

Vanden pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.2 points over those games. As for River City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Vanden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 72-49 loss against Acalanes on the 8th. As for River City, they will head out to face off against Vacaville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
