Soccer Recap: St. John Bosco Academy Drops Season-High Score on Cherokee Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. John Bosco Academy). Everything went their way against the Cherokee Christian Warriors on Tuesday as St. John Bosco Academy made off with an 8-1 win. Gavin O'Neil was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory (which was St. John Bosco Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Cherokee Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

St. John Bosco Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Holy Spirit Prep on the 13th. As for Cherokee Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Killian Hill Christian on the 18th.
