Basketball Recap: Golden Valley Takes a Loss

Golden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 30-21 to the West Ranch Wildcats. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 34-29.

Krysta Ezenwa was Golden Valley's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Ezenwa also led the team in rebounds with ten. Jaia Bryant took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Golden Valley's record now sits at 7-17. As for West Ranch, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Golden Valley nor West Ranch have any future games scheduled.
