Basketball Recap: Muhlenberg Takes a Loss

Muhlenberg lost against Reading back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Muhlenberg Muhls were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Reading Red KNights. While losing is never fun, the Muhls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 473rd, while the Red KNights are ranked 131st).

Muhlenberg's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Reading, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Muhlenberg will challenge Conrad Weiser at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Reading, they will welcome Berks Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Reading is facing Berks Catholic at the right time seeing as Berks Catholic is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
