Basketball Recap: Holtville Takes a Loss

Holtville lost against Warner back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Holtville Vikings lost to the Warner Wildcats at home by a 49-34 margin.

Holtville's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Warner, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Looking ahead, Holtville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Southwest EC at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holtville is facing Southwest EC at the right time seeing as Southwest EC is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Warner, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge West Shores at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Warner: 13.8, West Shores: 20.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
