Northgate had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Morrow Mustangs by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Northgate also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2016.

The win got Northgate back to even at 6-6. As for Morrow, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northgate will challenge Newnan at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morrow, they will take on Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Morrow has won three straight at home, while Mt. Zion won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
