Basketball Recap: Gunderson Comes Up Short

Gunderson was the 35-22 winner over Pioneer when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Gunderson Grizzlies took a blow against the Pioneer Mustangs on Saturday, falling 62-26. The Grizzlies just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Gunderson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Pioneer, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gunderson has already played their next matchup (against Yerba Buena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pioneer will take on Evergreen Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pioneer has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
