Basketball Recap: Deer Valley Comes Up Short

Deer Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Antioch Panthers, falling 62-36. The Wolverines were probably out for revenge after losing 59-38 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Deer Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Antioch, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Deer Valley will look to defend their home court on Friday against Heritage at 6:30 p.m. As for Antioch, they are taking a road trip to take on Merced at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Merced will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Antioch surely won't give up without a fight.
