It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Patrick Henry had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits a 3-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Emma Cunningham and Kathryn Mokhov scored all three of Patrick Henry's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Patrick Henry's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six matchups. As for Long Beach Poly, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Patrick Henry will challenge Thousand Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Long Beach Poly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
