Softball Recap: Milan Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Milan's offense. They came up short against the Albany Warriors on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.

Milan's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Albany, they pushed their record up to 23-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Milan will venture away from home to square off against Pattonsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Albany, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-0 defeat against Marceline on the 11th.
