Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington managed to slip by Mt. Pleasant the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Demons lost 4-0 to the Panthers on Monday. The loss leaves Washington still looking for their first win of the season.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Washington will square off against Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will venture away from home to challenge Keokuk at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Pleasant will be up against Keokuk's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
