Softball Recap: Catoosa Takes a Loss

After flying high against Okmulgee on Tuesday, Catoosa came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Locust Grove Pirates on Thursday, falling 16-6. The Indians have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Catoosa's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Locust Grove, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Catoosa wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-1 loss against Chouteau-Mazie on the 18th. As for Locust Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-7 defeat against Sequoyah on the 18th.
