Basketball Recap: Alexis Eberz's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Archbishop Carroll over Westtown

Archbishop Carroll lost against Westtown back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots fell 59-54 to Westtown. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexis Eberz, who posted 23 points. With that strong performance, Eberz is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Eberz, who put up 16 points.

Archbishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Westtown, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Carroll will face off against Monsignor Scanlan at 3:55 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westtown, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Audenried at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westtown will need to watch out since the Rockets have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
