Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Oak Grove Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Oak Grove, they pushed their record up to 26-0-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Lafayette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Benton on the 6th. As for Oak Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against East Buchanan on the 4th.
