Softball Recap: Westminster Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Westminster's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Cambridge Bears on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Cambridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster will square off against Mount Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.9, the Mustangs 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Cambridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
