It was a good run, but Center Point-Urbana unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Center Point-Urbana's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Grinnell, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.

Coming up, Center Point-Urbana will be playing at home against Williamsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grinnell, they have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Marshalltown on the 20th.
