Ridge Point had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Pearland Oilers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won 21 matches in a row.

Jayden Robinson paced Ridge Point's offense, picking up 17 kills. Robinson got some help from Madelyn Johnson and her 33 assists. Johnson and Robinson didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Despite the loss, Pearland still got an impressive performance from Emma Garza, who had 21 assists and nine digs. Garza is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Ridge Point's win bumped their record up to 32-13. As for Pearland, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-21.

Ridge Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Atascocita on the 4th. Pearland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
