Recap: West Valley Eagles vs. Central Valley Falcons

In what's become a running theme this season, the West Valley Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Central Valley 65-27 at home. Winning may never get old, but West Valley sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kayla Wiley continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. She also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Emily Nolan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Despite the loss, Central Valley still got an impressive performance from Kylie Mason, who scored nine points along with three steals. Harley Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.

West Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Central Valley, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

West Valley will head out on the road to challenge Yreka at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Averaging 59.42 points so far this season, West Valley's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Yreka better be ready for a challenge. As for Central Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Anderson at 7:30 p.m. Anderson will be up against Central Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 50 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive showing.
