Soccer Game Preview: Swett vs. Hercules

The Swett Warriors will challenge the Hercules Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Swett's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Swett fell victim to Vallejo and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Redhawks.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hercules, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged St. Patrick-St. Vincent out 4-3 on Thursday. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Titans were the better team in the second half.

Madison Aquino and Brianet Mendoza scored all four of Hercules' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Swett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-2. As for Hercules, their win bumped their record up to 4-5-1.
