Kell barely beat Centennial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Longhorns never let the Knights get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Kell pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Kell will be playing at home against St. Pius X Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Centennial, they will head out to square off against Lovett at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.93 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
