Basketball Recap: Hart Piles Up the Points Against Castaic

Hart had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 56-17 victory over the Castaic Coyotes. The game marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season.

Andrea Aina continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 16 on her way to 19 points and eight rebounds. Morgan Mack was another key player, putting up eight points along with ten boards and three steals.

Hart smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Hart is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Castaic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
