Thomasville typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Worth County proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 9-8. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Friday, they had to take a 7-6 defeat.

Colby Griffis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Griffis was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Hayden Short was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Lyndon Worthy was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Worth County's record is now 22-7. As for Thomasville, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-12.

Worth County has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Swainsboro on the 24th. As for Thomasville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-2 loss against Toombs County on the 23rd.
