Basketball Recap: Lewisburg Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lewisburg can now relate to. They fell 61-51 to the Forest Hills Rangers on Saturday.

Forest Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aivah Maul led the charge by going 8-for-20 on her way to 18 points and four steals. The contest was Maul's fifth in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Gdula, who posted 17 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Lewisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Forest Hills, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.

Lewisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forest Hills, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-25 loss against Lansdale Catholic on the 12th.
