            The Giles County Bobcats will take on the Sequatchie County Indians at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.
On Friday, Giles County strolled past Forrest with  points to spare, taking the game  46-28.

Giles County's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Pierson Collier, who rushed for 224 yards and three  touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and one  score. That's the most  receiving yards  Collier has posted since back in October of 2024.  Xavier Randolph was another key passer, throwing for 201 yards and three  TDs on only 16 passes.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Giles County was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 275  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 174  rushing yards in six consecutive  games.
 Giles County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Drew McClemore,  Dereon London,  and  Colt Ogle picked up one apiece. Ogle has been hot recently, having also posted six or more  total tackles the last three times he's  played. Another thorn in Forrest's side was  Jakarious Reese, who made 16 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Sequatchie County beat Walker Valley 7-2 on Friday.
 Giles County's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Sequatchie County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
 Giles County might still be hurting after the  30-10 defeat they got from Sequatchie County  when the teams last played  back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  the Indians'  Hunter Minton, who threw for 102 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 83 yards on only ten carries.
