Reseda and Panorama are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Regents will be home for the holidays to greet the Pythons at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Reseda is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Kennedy on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Regents were dealt a 67-15 defeat at the hands of the Golden Cougars. The contest marked the Regents' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Panorama). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Canoga Park 54-16. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-8.

Panorama's win came from a few key players Reseda will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Valery Quezada, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. She is becoming a predictor of Panorama's success: when she posts at least eight boards the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Yadhira Hermenegildo, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Reseda now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Panorama, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Reseda against Panorama in their previous meeting back in February, as the squad secured a 68-39 victory. In that contest, the Regents amassed a halftime lead of 40-9, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
