            Softball Recap: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder vs. Pierce Bluejays        
        
		
        
        
            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Logan View/Scribner-Snyder). They blew past the Pierce Bluejays 15-2 on Saturday. While Logan View/Scribner-Snyder didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Marah Fischer made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk any time she's  pitched this season. She was even better at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in September of 2024.

 In other batting news,  Arienne Summers was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Rachel Purvis was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Logan View/Scribner-Snyder  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pierce only posted  an  OBP of  .450.
The  win made it two in a row for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder and  bumps their season record up to 6-3. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Pierce,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will square off against Douglas County West at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last three games the Falcon have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pierce, they will face off against Ord at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
