Recap: Forest Hills Rangers vs. Penn Cambria Panthers
The Forest Hills Rangers can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. Everything went their way against Penn Cambria as Forest Hills made off with a 64-39 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Forest Hills has posted since December 7, 2023.
Forest Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Olivia Mcleary led the charge by scoring 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcleary has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Addison Schirato, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Despite the loss, Penn Cambria saw an underclassman step up: Makenna Mccoy scored seven points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Forest Hills' victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.5 points. As for Penn Cambria, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
Forest Hills will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Greater Latrobe at 7:15 p.m. As for Penn Cambria, they will head out on the road to challenge Richland at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
