Basketball Recap: Lilly Dallo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Valhalla over Madison

Valhalla lost against Madison back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Valhalla Norsemen fell 33-23 to the Madison Warhawks. That's two games in a row now that the Norsemen have lost by exactly ten points.

Several Norsemen players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lilly Dallo, who posted eight points and 11 boards. Dallo has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chanel Akka, who put up eight points.

Valhalla's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Madison, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Valhalla didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-20 victory against Mount Miguel on the 4th. Madison has also already played their next contest, a 48-34 defeat against Hoover on the 3rd.
