Soccer Recap: Wapello Comes Up Short

Wapello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keota Eagles. That's two games in a row now that Wapello have lost by exactly two goals.

Wapello's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Keota, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coincidentally, Wapello and Keota will both be playing Hillcrest Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Indians will head out to face the Ravens at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
