            The St. Francis Troubadours will take on the Del Oro Golden Eagles at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. St. Francis is coming into the  matchup on  a  four-game losing streak.
St. Francis is headed into the  game out to prove that what happened against Davis Sr.  on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. St. Francis lost  63-41 to Davis Sr. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Troubadours have suffered  against the Blue Devils since February 14, 2020.

 Despite the  loss, St. Francis saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Tayli Paeu-Lindgren  went 8 for 20  on her way to 18  points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals. What's more,  Paeu-Lindgren also racked up four  blocks, the most she's  had since back in November of 2024.  Laila Mendoza was another key player,  putting up eight points and five  boards.
 Meanwhile, Del Oro was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Granite Bay 52-21. Given the Golden Eagles' advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 109th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 457th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Del Oro has also been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 53.8 points per game. As for St. Francis, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 9-12.
