Oologah came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Vinita Hornets. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 11-1 victory back in August.

Oologah's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Vinita, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-18.

Oologah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Adair on the 18th. As for Vinita, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Quapaw on the 19th.
