Cumberland Valley proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 37) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Central Dauphin Rams out 50-48. The win was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Rams are ranked 50th).

Cumberland Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Payton Basehore, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Mcintire, who earned four points and ten rebounds.
