Football Recap: Catawba Ridge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Chapin last Friday, Catawba Ridge came back down to earth. The Copperheads lost 30-7 to the Dorman Cavaliers on Friday.

Bradey Compton threw for 145 yards on 13 of 29 attempts. Darius Sutton was his top target, picking up 102 receiving yards.

Catawba Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dorman, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catawba Ridge will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Chester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dorman, they will square off against Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
