Basketball Recap: Kensington Gets the Win

There's no place like home for Kensington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 25-24 victory over Bodine. This was payback for the KENSINGTON TIGER, who suffered a 34-22 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading Kensington to victory were CRYSTA JENKINS and ANNIE ORTIZ. JENKINS posted eight points, while ORTIZ earned seven points.

Kensington's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Bodine, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Kensington will challenge George Washington at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bodine, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Academy at Palumbo at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Bodine's defense has only allowed 27.8 points per game this season, so Academy at Palumbo's offense will have their work cut out for them.
