After only one run in their last contest, Mid-Buchanan made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lafayette on Monday. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Fighting Irish. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Mid-Buchanan's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Lafayette, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mid-Buchanan will venture away from home to face off against Ruskin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lafayette, they will head out to square off against Cameron at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
