Softball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Delta finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Durango Demons, falling 12-1. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 13-7 to the Demons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Delta saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazlyn Naranjo, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Durango, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

While Delta had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
