Softball Recap: Central City Bison vs. Boone Central Cardinals

Central City took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Boone Central Cardinals as they made off with a 9-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bison also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Payton Burbach was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk).
