Basketball Recap: Rise Kohyang Comes Up Short

Rise Kohyang lost against Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rise Kohyang Tritons fell 23-14 to the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Tritons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1047th, while the Tigers are ranked 443rd).

Rise Kohyang has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rise Kohyang will challenge Smidt Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rise Kohyang is facing Smidt Tech at the right time seeing as Smidt Tech is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers duke it out with the Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
