Softball Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss

Mt. Zion blew Temple out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Temple got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 14-12. It was the first time this season that the Eagles let down their fans at home.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Temple, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Mt. Zion has already played their next contest (against Model), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Temple, they will face off against Pepperell at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.2 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
