Basketball Recap: Wood Wildcats vs. Pleasant Grove Eagles        
        
		
             A  victory for Wood just wasn't in the cards  on Wednesday as the  squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They lost  47-24 to the Pleasant Grove Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Wildcats have suffered  since January 26th.
 Despite the loss, Wood still got an impressive performance from   Nateyah Ebuen, who  posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was  Mikyah Dixon, who  had three points in addition to six  rebounds and two  steals.
  Kate Myers went supernova for Pleasant Grove,  going 7 for 17 en route to 22 points plus five  rebounds and two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elena Delmundo, who  earned five points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals.
 Wood's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pleasant Grove,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Wood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  30-27  victory against Stagg on the 29th. Pleasant Grove has also  already played their next match,  a  43-35  defeat against Grant on the 29th.
