Soccer Recap: Washington Catholic Falls to Brown County in First Game of Season

Washington Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Brown County Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Washington Catholic couldn't quite close it out.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Catholic will host Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Washington Catholic their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Brown County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Hauser at 5:00 p.m.
