Football Game Preview: Northwood Timberwolves vs. Orange Panthers + Official Tickets

The Northwood Timberwolves will challenge the Orange Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Northwood had to suffer through a 42-3 loss at the hands of Aliso Niguel. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 358th, while the Wolverines are ranked 161st).

Meanwhile, Orange played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Dana Hills, falling 49-28. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Northwood will need to focus on slowing down Star Thomas, one of several Orange players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 57 yards. Orange's leading receiver Dylan Stone was Thomas' top target yet again, picking up 152 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Orange's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Northwood, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
