Softball Recap: Ponca City Triumphs

Ponca City got themselves on the board against El Reno on Friday, but El Reno never followed suit. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 5-0. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2018.

Ponca City now has a winning record of 5-4. As for El Reno, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Ponca City will challenge Eisenhower at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for El Reno, they will take on Guthrie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
