Soccer Game Preview: Deming vs. Hatch Valley + How To Watch

The Deming Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Hatch Valley Bears at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Deming challenged Bloomfield on Friday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bobcats who were credited with the victory. Bloomfield got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to Deming's six. Deming's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Hatch Valley managed to keep up with Santa Teresa until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bears lost 6-0 to the Desert Warriors. Hatch Valley have struggled against Santa Teresa recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Deming's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hatch Valley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Deming was able to grind out a solid win over Hatch Valley in their previous matchup back in August of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
