Golden entered their tilt with Green Mountain on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Give Golden's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Micah Farman was the driving force of Golden's attack as he scored both of Golden's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Golden's victory bumped their record up to 8-2-3. As for Green Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-3.
