Football Game Preview: Pennridge Rams vs. Central Bucks East Patriots

The Pennridge Rams will take on the Central Bucks East Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pennridge's defense has only allowed 14.9 points per game this season, so Central Bucks East's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Pennridge lost to Central Bucks West on the road by a 28-14 margin. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Bucks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Although Pennridge took the loss, they still got scores from Nate Derstine and Ryan Rowe.

Meanwhile, Central Bucks East entered their matchup against Neshaminy on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Patriots fell 41-35 to the Skins. While the Patriots had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Skins 7-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pennridge fell to 7-1. As for Central Bucks East, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Pennridge has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 182 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Central Bucks East struggles in that department as they've been averaging 197 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Pennridge couldn't quite get it done against Central Bucks East in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 21-12. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Patriots' Michael Price, who rushed for 197 yards and a pair of TDs.
