Football Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Woodlawn lost against Bessemer City back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colonels were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of the Tigers. Despite 169 more yards than the Tigers, the Colonels couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Although Woodlawn took the loss, they still got scores from Deitric Young and Kejiaun Johnson.

Woodlawn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bessemer City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Woodlawn didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 33-26 loss against Minor on the 4th. As for Bessemer City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 42-14 victory against Brookwood on the 5th.
