It's playoff time, and Westminster had no trouble coming through when it counted. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wildcats who were credited with the victory on Friday. The Westminster Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Dalton Catamounts's four. For Westminster, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 win Dalton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.

Will Stewart was the driving force of Westminster's attack as he scored both of Westminster's goals, bringing his season total up to 13 goals.

The victory (which was Westminster's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matches. As for Dalton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 18-2 record.

Westminster has already played their next contest, a 0-0 victory against Marist on the 15th. Dalton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
